Supervision

The Anima approach to supervision is to balance the essential need for support, nurturing and debriefing with the equally essential need for critical reflection on practice and focus on skill development. In this sense, supervision whether individual or in groups, is an important relationship of trust, mutual accountability and professional development.

Anima Consulting offers:

• supervision for psychologists, social workers and counsellors working therapeutically with traumatised children and/ or their carers
• group supervision for professionals
• supervision for registration for provisionally registered psychologists

Training

Training is available with Anima for teams, schools and organisations seeking a balance between practice and theory in their staff’s professional development. Core and advanced training related to trauma and trauma informed care & case management can be tailored to meet the unique needs of your team, staff or organisation. Anima also provides training in many specialist areas of trauma practice including working with child sexual assault and children’s sexual behaviour problems. Consultation

Sometimes as professionals we need that ‘one-off’ consultation with an experienced professional to check in on a complex matter. Anima offers one-off consultations of 2 hour duration around some complex child protection matters, child sexual assault and developmental trauma/ complex trauma presentations.
